Description

The Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 1769 programmable controllers are designed to provide a cost-effective, compact control solution for small to medium-sized applications. Includes integrated safety and adoption of the same programming software, network protocol and information capabilities included in all Logix controllers.

The CompactLogix controller has a power supply distance-rating of four modules. The controller must be the leftmost module in the first bank of the system. The maximum configuration for the first bank of a CompactLogix controller includes the following:

• Three I/O modules to the left of the power supply

• Eight I/O modules to the right of the power supply
