Description

The 9907-028 is a Woodward SPM-A synchronizer designed to help match generator speed and phase prior to paralleling with other devices. The user-installed switch will allow for mode switching between the four possible states of OFF, RUN, CHECK, and PERMISSIVE. RUN mode is useful for operating the 9907-028 in normal conditions for synchronization and breaker closure signals. The unit will synchronize the devices while checking for a breaker closure signal to activate the lockout circuit. CHECK mode is useful if you would like normal synchronization functionality, but do not want to permit breaker closure signals. PERMISSIVE mode restricts synchronization from affecting engine speed.
