Functional Description

The WOODWARD 5466-352 CPU Module is a versatile industrial control unit designed for a range of automation and process control applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-32 VDC, making it suitable for various power configurations. The module features 4 analog input channels with 12-bit resolution, ensuring accurate data acquisition, and 2 analog output channels for precise control. Additionally, it includes 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs for handling binary signals. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the module is built for extreme conditions. It supports Modbus RTU and CANopen communication protocols for seamless integration into control networks.

Features

• The system operator can use the Service panel to communicate with a 040 CPU Module in a stand-alone MicroNet system
• Only for simplex CPU systems: Toggle the 040 CPU's CPU switch to the reset position. Stop the application on a MicroNet Plus 5200 CPU or CPU P1020 system by using AppManager. (If the CPU reset button is used, the application will start automatically in about 2 minutes.)
• When the CPU fails, watchdog logic causes it to enter an IOLOCK state, in which all output circuits and signals are de-energized. When a CPU or I/O module fails, watchdog logic causes it to enter an IOLOCK state, in which all output circuits and signals are de-energized.
• When the CPU fails, the module enters an IOLOCK state.
• When the CPU fails, an IOLOCK signal is sent to all modules and expansion racks, causing them to enter an IOLOCK state
